Don't Quit.
As believers, we are now Children of God. Not just His creation, as
before knowing Him, when we lived in our slavery to sin and we could not
get out of our sinful patterns because we did not have the Holy Spirit.
Things will get rough and we will go through many trails and
temptations. The Bible says in "James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my
brothers, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that
the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must
finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking
anything." Wow ! what verses, and yet sometimes we quit on obeying God
when trails and temptations come. We are so human. Thank you Jesus for
being so merciful. If we fail and we might sometimes, confess your sin
to Him directly and move on, He knows we will disobey him sometimes, but
He loves us so much that when we ask for forgiveness, He will. No
matter what problem I have ever had, God has always had the solution for
it, there was always some kind of answer for me. In "Jeremiah 33:2-3 it
says, This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who
formed it and established it-the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will
answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
Now I think we must be in a good relationship with God to really
experience this, because we need to compare what we think with what the
Bible truly says, and ask other mature Christians too, to help when
comparing. In conclusion we will be better Christians when we hold on
and trust God through our trials and temptations. He will always give us
a way out of them and make sure its His way, like it will say in His
word. And as we keep obeying Him little by little, unless His will is faster, He will make us more stable.
