Sin Can Be Deadly.

For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing. My strength fails because of my iniquity and my bones waste away. Psalm 31:10. Sin is not a thing we should practice. It can make you go in a vicious circle and not have any power to get out of it, until you give your life to Jesus Christ and make Him your Lord and Savior. Not only will you be forgiven of all your sins, but have the power from God's Holy Spirit to overcome and have victory over sin. Sin can grab a hold of you and not let go. You must feed the Spirit and not the flesh to have victory. It can separate us from God. " But your iniquities have separated you from God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isiah 59:2. Confess your sins as a believer and God will forgive you. you will not lose your salvation for sinning, but maintain fellowship with Him when we don't sin. But sin can have serious consequences too. It can cause many things like, sickness, depression, anxiety, shame, loss of self control, loneliness, a constant need to upgrade your sin, bad relationships, spiritual blindness and many much more undesirable things even death. It may feel good at first, but it is a lie from the deadliest pit known. We must push to grow in Christ always. "For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil." 1Peter 3:17. We will suffer at times for doing God's will, but the outcome is far much better than sinning. Sin is a problem for anybody, no matter who you are. But for the mentally Ill, and those who take medication for it, sin is still sin and we must pray for our medication to be right and be stable. But remember one thing, we are not perfect and we will never be sinless, but we can sin less in Christ. Because constant sin, especially sin that is not confessed, does not help the process of getting better. And sin does not please God.

Don't Quit On The Lord.

Trust in the Lord, and do good, dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:3-4. We always dream of something we want to achieve in life. Maybe its fame or recognition, status, to be influential. Be somebody. But the only way to be someone of significance is to be a child of the one and only true God and savior, Jesus Christ. To be His servant, to follow His every way with much delight in obeying His every command. To follow Him even if you don't feel like it. Trusting that all things as you obey Him will work for your good. Even the bad things, He will turn around and make it work for your favor. He is preparing you and molding you for what He has for you to do. Now following God is no easy task. Sometimes you will need to posses much courage. Like the word says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9. Sometimes God will take you and present things in your path that will be difficult to do. They must be things that are Biblical. God will not lead you to sin. Or to disobey your doctors orders on what medication to take or not take, for example. But we may have to face our fears, or try our hardest to stop a sin in our life. We may have to forgive the unforgivable in you mind, or let go of your pride and do things God's way. You may also have to do the things that go against your selfish ways. As men for example, especially in marriage. We must be the example. You want a wife, first pray for one, don't make her your God and lead as men should, by loving her and if you want something to happen in your marriage, like peace for example, you must be the first to create peace and be the servant leader God created you to be. Going where God wants you to go is not easy. But the rewards are greater than you could ever imagine. Its not what I feel like doing but what I must do to obey God.

Never Give Up !

God is working in our lives everyday. Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1: 6. God has a plan for our lives, that is for sure. "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29: 11. He created us For His purposes only. " For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. " Colossians 1: 16.
God definitely has a plan and purpose for our lives and we know it's not our plan but His. And whatever His will is for our lives is what we should be praying for. So that in any direction that we go, it must line up with God's word, it must be Biblical. For example, God does not direct us to do things that bring disunity, but directs us into genuine unity, peace, love, hope, and many more things, but the one thing I like the best of the many things Jesus gives us is a sound mind. Following Jesus with the help of many mature brothers or sisters depending if you are a man or female, being counciled  buy the same sex preferably. God will heal our minds. We may need medication in the process. But in any case we must follow our doctors orders too. So the plan He has for us must be Biblical and if it is we must not give up as we wait too. there is a process for God's work in us. God does not do things in a sloppy and disorganized way. God is a God of Order and does things perfectly. Sometimes we must wait to do what we are called to do as God determines the perfect time. Joseph waited 13 years, Abraham waited 25 years, Moses waited 40 years and Jesus waited 30 years. So if God is making you wait, you are definitely in good company. So remember we were created for Him to do His will and not ours, and wait on His time for the plan He has for us, no matter how long it takes. It's a process and God has the perfect recipe of events and preparations to make it happen His way, the correct way.
